Royal Mail

Note: We only support Royal Mail integration if you have an OBA (Online Business Account), as we do not support Royal Mail Click & Drop.

If you have a carrier contract with Royal Mail, you can integrate this shipping contract in Returnless. This way you can offer the FedEx shipping methods to your customers, while using your own negotiated rates.

Installation

To add a new Royal Mail shipping contract, follow these steps:

Login to your Return panel and navigate to the Integrations menu.
Click the Shipping contracts tab.
Click the Add shipping contract button to add a new Royal Mail.

Register your Royal Mail account and obtain credentials

It's necessary to have a Royal Mail Online Business Account before you can obtain the required information needed to authorize the connection.

Important: If you have not logged into your Royal Mail OBA account for a while, your account will become inactive and the carrier will not accept your request to activate a contract. Therefore, make sure you log into your OBA environment before requesting to activate Royal Mail. This will help our Support team to process your request as soon as possible.
Send an email to support@returnless.com with the following information. You can find all the information required in your Royal Mail account details:
- Royal Mail Account Number
- Posting Location (no. starts with 9)
- Email address
  - The email needs to be the email associated with the original OBA sign up, which may not necessarily be the email you use for Click & Drop etc
- Sender address: Street (connected with your Royal Mail contract)
- Sender address: Postal Code (connected with your Royal Mail contract)
- Sender address: City (connected with your Royal Mail contract)
Go to Settings > Integrations > Shipping contracts > Royal Mail and fill in the other contract details.

After sending the information to us, we will setup the contract within Returnless for you.
