JTL Cloud setup
JTL is an ERP system designed for small and medium-sized businesses, especially those operating online stores. It integrates with multiple sales channels, manages inventory, orders, shipping, and offers financial reporting and customizability. You can connect your JTL Wawi using the JTL Cloud for a seamless integration.
🚨 important: Before you start create your JTL Cloud account, make sure you have registered for the Returnless App Closed Beta pilot via https://kundencenter.jtl-software.de/pilot
Step 1: creating your JTL ID & Organization
The JTL ID is a new, independent login for all JTL Cloud services (JTL Hub, Partner Portal, and Cloud Apps).
🚨 Important: Your JTL ID is NOT the same as your JTL Customer Center (Contract) credentials. Even if you already have a customer account, you must create a new JTL ID.
Create your JTL ID
- Visit the Portal: Go to hub.jtl-cloud.com.
- Register: Click "Register Now" at the bottom of the page.
- Account Details: Enter your Name, Email Address, and a secure Password.
- Verification: Check your email for a confirmation code.
- Enter the code on the registration page to verify your identity.
- Security Note: JTL ID supports high-security standards, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Passkeys.
Set up your Organization
An "Organization" in the JTL Cloud acts as the umbrella for your company and employees.
- Initial Login: Log in to the Hub using your newly created JTL ID.
- Create Organization: Follow the prompts to name and create your organization.
- Ownership: As the Organization Owner, you have the authority to invite employees later so they can access the JTL Hub under your company profile.
Link your customer account (Contract Account)
To sync your existing contracts and licenses with your new Cloud ID, you must link them.
- Navigate: In the Organization Setup area, click "Link JTL Customer Account."
- Authenticate: You will be redirected to the JTL Customer Center. Log in here with your existing contract/customer credentials.
- Permissions: * Review the requested permissions.
- Click "Grant Permission" to authorize the link.
- Redirect: You will be automatically redirected back to the JTL Hub once the link is confirmed.
✅ Success: You now have a verified JTL ID linked to your company’s contract account. You are now ready to perform the Wawi 2.0 Cloud Connection.

- Create Shortcut: Find "JTL-Administrator.exe".

Running the Setup Assistant
Once the Administrator is open, you will use the Setup Wizard to link your local database to the JTL Hub.

- Profile Selection: Choose the specific Wawi profile you wish to connect to the JTL Hub and click Next to continue (Note: You also have the option here to configure a brand new profile or client if required).
- Client Selection: Select the correct Client (Mandant) from your account that needs the Hub connection and click Next to continue.
- Cloud Authentication: Enter your JTL Cloud/Hub credentials (the same ones used to sign into the JTL Hub portal). Once the login is successful, the assistant will automatically move to the next stage.
