Request & Return statuses

In Returnless, it is possible to specify your own statuses for Requests and Returns. Setting these statuses is a powerful way to customize the return process to your own specific return process.

Manage statuses

To manage statuses, Navigate to Settings > General settings page where you will find the Request statuses and Return statuses sections.

Adding and editing statuses

To add a status, click the Add status button. To edit a status, click the Edit button. In both cases you will be prompted with a modal to add or edit the status. You can set these parameters:

Parameter Description Example
Color Click the round Colorpicker icon to select a color for the status.
Status title The title of the status you're adding. This will be used as label in the Return panel. Approved
Status label for consumer (language) A translated label for the specific language. This label will be shown to the consumer instead of the title. Goedgekeurd
Show status in frontend When enabled, the status will be part of the timeline on the return status page. Yes

Sorting statuses

Drag and drop the statuses vertically to decide the sorting order of the available statuses. This way you can align them with the flow of your internal return process.

For example: Received > Approved > Refunded

This sort order will also be used on the return status page to set the statuses in the correct order in the timeline.

Removing statuses

To remove a status, click on the Remove button next to the status in question. Please note you cannot remove a status if a request or return is currently using that status.
