Shipping label reference

The Shipping Label settings allows you to add specific references to your shipping labels. This helps streamline the return process by making it easier to track and identify return shipments.

You can choose from the following options:

• Sales Order ID: Identifies the original sales order linked to the return.
• Sales Order Number: Displays the sales order number for easy reference.
• Return Number: Shows the unique return number assigned to the return.
• Outbound Shipping Number: Refers to the outbound shipment number.
• Return Order Metadata Value: Allows you to add custom metadata values to the return order. Note: Metadata is available after adding the first key. To add metadata, refer to the Update a Return Metadata API Call or manage it in the return detail page.

After selecting your preferred reference, click 'Save' to apply the changes.

• Can I add multiple references to the same shipping label?

  No, you can only select one reference per shipping label.

• Will the reference appear on all shipping labels?

  Yes, once configured, the selected reference will appear on all generated shipping labels.
