Dynamic return costs
The Dynamic Return Costs Settings feature allows you to define the cost per returned item in addition to standard shipping costs. This enables flexible pricing based on the number of items returned, helping to manage return-related expenses effectively.
How to use this feature?
- Configure Price per Returned Item
- Enter the fixed fee per returned item.
- Example: If the shipping cost is €2.95 and the cost per item is €0.50, returning 2 items will result in a total cost of €3.95.
- Set the Starting Count for Cost Calculation
- Define from which item the cost should start applying.
- Example: If set to 2, the first item is free (only the shipping label will be charged), and extra costs are applied from the second item onwards.
- Add a Return Instruction
- Provide a brief explanation of how the dynamic return costs are calculated.
- Note: Only the content of the return instruction will be visible to customers, not the title.
