What does this feature do?

This feature allows you to customize the statuses of return requests to match your internal return process. You can define and manage these statuses to keep track of returns efficiently.

Why is this feature important?

  • Customizable workflow – Adapt statuses to fit your specific return handling process.
  • Clear status tracking – Easily monitor the progress of each return request.
  • Better communication – Define consumer-facing labels to provide clear updates on return statuses.

How to use this feature?

  • Add or edit statuses – Click Add status to create a new status or Edit to modify an existing one.
  • Set parameters – Customize the status title, color, and consumer label for different languages.
  • Control visibility – Choose whether a status appears in the return timeline for consumers.
  • Sort statuses – Drag and drop statuses to define their order in the return process.
  • Remove statuses – Click Remove to delete a status (if it is not currently in use).

Important notes / Frequently asked questions

  • The sort order you set determines how statuses appear in the return timeline.
  • You cannot delete a status that is currently assigned to a request or return.
  • Consumer labels ensure that customers see clear, translated status updates.
