Importer-feature

The importer function ensures that returns from external systems such as bol, Channable, or ChannelEngine are automatically imported into Returnless. This eliminates manual entry and improves the efficiency of return handling, since all returns are centralized in one channel

What does this feature do?

  • Automatic return handling – Returns are automatically fetched every hour.
  • Centralized processing – All returns are visible and manageable within Returnless.

Importer setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select the desired integration (such as bol, Channable, or ChannelEngine).
  3. Enable the option "Enable importer".
  4. Link returns to a form:
    • Virtual form (default)
    • Existing form
  5. Set the default return status (optional).

⏰ Note: The importer runs every hour at 5 minutes before the full hour (e.g., 8:55, 9:55).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are existing returns also imported?
    • No, only returns created after the importer has been activated will be imported.

Please note: returns created on the day of activation will be retrieved.

  • What is a virtual form?
    • A form used internally by default for imported returns. Not visible to customers and does not support return rules, but it does support automations.
  • Are product images also imported?
    • Not all integrations support this. For example, Channable does not provide images via their API.
