Partner accounts

Partner accounts allow one account to access and manage multiple webshop environments. This makes it possible to handle returns for several webshops from one central dashboard.

This functionality is commonly used by fulfillment partners, businesses with multiple legal entities, and companies working with drop-shipping partners.


Creating a Partner Account

Creating a partner account works the same way as creating a regular webshop account:

  1. If you do not have an account yet, create one via the registration page.
  2. After your account is created, contact Returnless Support and request that your account be converted into a partner account.

Changes in Your Subscription

When a webshop is added to a partner account:

  • The partner becomes responsible for the subscription.
  • The webshop will use the partner’s (often larger) subscription plan.
  • The partner can decide how to handle subscription-related costs with the webshop.

Billing Structure Per Period

Invoice line Invoiced to Description
Subscription costs Partner The partner purchases a subscription with a return volume, shared across all connected webshops.
Shipping costs Partner All shipping costs are charged to the partner.
Transaction costs Webshop The webshop sets its own paid return fees; transaction fees are charged to the webshop.
Paid return contributions Webshop Amounts collected from customers for paid returns are paid out to the webshop.

Allowing a Partner Access to Your Account

To give a partner access to your webshop account, they will need your unique partner code.

Follow these steps to find your partner code:

  1. Log in to your Return Panel and open the My account menu.
  2. Go to the Partner management tab.
  3. Click Enable partner access to reveal your partner code.
  4. Copy the code to share it manually, or click Share verification code via email to send it directly to your partner.

Once a partner requests access using your partner code, you will receive an email asking you to confirm their access.


Revoking Partner Access

If you want to revoke a partner’s access:

  1. Log in to your Return Panel and go to the My account menu.
  2. Open the Partner management tab.
  3. Click Revoke access next to the partner whose access you wish to remove.

Adding a Webshop to Your Partner Account

If you manage multiple webshops, you can add them to your partner account.

  1. Log in to your Return Panel.
  2. In the Settings menu, click Partner management.
  3. Enter the 8-digit partner code you received from the webshop.

You will now have two options:

1. Attach an existing webshop

  • Click Attach webshop.
  • The webshop will receive an email to confirm the request.
  • Once confirmed, the webshop is linked to your partner account.

2. Create a new webshop account

  • Click Create account.
  • Follow the steps to set up the new webshop account.
  • The new account will automatically be attached to your partner account.

Removing a Webshop from Your Partner Account

To remove a webshop from your partner account:

  1. Log in to your Return Panel and go to the My account menu.
  2. Open the Partner management tab.
  3. Click Revoke access next to the webshop you want to remove.
