Managing return statuses
Returnless allows you to create and manage your own Request statuses and Return statuses. Custom statuses help you tailor the return flow to your internal processes, making it easier for your team and clearer for your customers.
Managing statuses
You can manage all statuses in Settings → General settings, where you’ll find:
From here, you can add new statuses, edit existing ones, or adjust the order in which they appear.

Adding or editing a status
- Click Add status to create a new status.
- Click Edit to update an existing status.
In both cases, a modal will open where you can configure the status details.

Status parameters

| Color | Select a color using the color picker. This color is used to visually distinguish the status. | — |
| Status title | Internal title of the status. This is shown in the Return Panel for your team. | Approved |
Sorting statuses
You can reorder statuses by dragging and dropping them vertically.

Removing statuses
To remove a status, click Remove next to the status you want to delete.
⚠️ Important: You cannot remove a status that is currently assigned to an existing request or return.
To delete it, first update those items to another status.
