Managing tags
Tags help you categorize return questions, automate return rules, and keep your Return Panel organized. In Returnless, you can easily create, edit, and remove tags to support your internal workflows.
Where to manage tags
You can find all tag management options in your Return Panel:
- Log in to your Return Panel
- Go to Settings → General Settings
- Click the Tags tab
Here, you’ll see an overview of all tags available in your environment.

Creating a tag
- Click Add tag in the top-right corner.
- A pop-up will appear where you can configure the tag.
Tag fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The title of your tag. |
| Description | Optional details to clarify what the tag is used for. |
| Color | Click the tag icon above the name field to select a color. This helps visually distinguish tags. |
Once complete, click Save Tag. Your new tag will be added to the list.

Editing a tag
- In the tag overview, click Edit next to the tag you want to adjust.
- Update the name, description, or color.
- Click Save Tag to apply your changes.
Removing a tag
- In the tag overview, click Remove next to the tag you want to delete.
⚠️ Note: Tags currently used in automations or return rules may need to be removed from those flows first before they can be deleted.
