Search order Settings
You have the choice between multiple ways for the consumer to find their order within Picqer, this will be the main way to lookup order information from your return form.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Reference (exact match) | We search for orders using the Reference field in Picqer. The chance we find an order is lower, but if we find an order, we can be sure it’s the correct order. Therefore this method is mostly used in case your reference in Picqer doesn’t contain any order information. |
| Search (broad match) | We will search by the “reference” field in Picqer using a broad match. The chance we find an order is high, but there is also a change that we will find multiple orders containing the same reference. Therefore this method is mostly used in case your reference also contains other information. |
| Picqer order ID | We will search using the Picqer Order ID. This is the order ID that is most unique so it will give best search results. However, in most cases this ID is not known to the consumer. So this method can only be used in case the ID is clearly communicated to the consumer, for example on the package slip or invoice. |
Also, you have the ability to specify how bundle products should be handled.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Hide child products, only allow bundle to be returned in full | A consumer can only return a full bundle. Partially returning a bundle will not be allowed. |
| Show child products, allow bundle to be partly returned | A consumer will be able to partially return a bundle product |
Important: If you are using the Hide child products, only allow bundle to be returned in full setting, the Marked as Received action in Picqer cannot be handled correctly. In that case, make sure to use an Automation instead to mark the parent product as received or manually mark the parent as received.
Mapping
There are two types of mapping you need to set between Picqer and Returnless data.
Return Statuses
To update return statuses automatically within Picqer, your integration needs to know of a mapping of your return statuses.
We suggest that you create the same statuses in Returnless that you use in Picqer
For more information on managing your statuses in Returnless, see Request and Return statuses
Return Reasons
To update return reasons within Picqer, your integration needs to be configured to map return reasons from Returnless to Picqer.
Note here that all returns reasons available to returnless will be shown, you only need to make your mapping for the ones you are using within your return forms.
To see which return reasons are used in your form:
- Go to Settings > Return Forms
- Select the form you would like to see return reasons used for, press Settings
- Press the Return Reason tab, you will be able to see which return reasons are activated for your return form.
